US return to South-East Asia

Annotation: Objective analyses shows that there are necessary preconditions for the US “return” to the South East Asia today. Keeping in mind the situation in the South-China Sea, the regional actors are seriously concerned with problems of security and development. That is why they consider the US as a supplementary factor of the strategic balance of power. Supposedly, the future US policy will aim at further evolution of dialogue with ASEAN.
