Instruments of Political Influence of the USA in Vietnam

Annotation: The article deals with analyzing the role of instruments of political influence of Washington in the bilateral relations with Vietnam. It is argued that after the normalization of diplomatic relations a spectrum of mechanisms of American inderect influence on Hanoi was significantly extended. The evidence of that is the volume of aid to the sum of hundreds of millions USD provided to Vietnam through American Nonprofit Organizations. In this context a special attention is paid to the activity of International Development Agency USAID.
