The new quality of the conflict in the South-China Sea

Annotation: The author pointed out that the meaning of globality with regard to the conflict in the SCS is not only in the scale of coverage in the world press, but which is more important - the transition to the global level fundamentally changes the entire political architecture of the SCS. Under the new conditions, both the conflict between China and Vietnam, and the conflict between the ASEAN countries and China, as if recede into the background, giving way to the global confrontation. It also changes and the main motivations and reference points that determine the nature of the conflict.
