External migration from Vietnam: brides for export

Annotation: Over the past two decades, marriage migration related to moving to a permanent place of residence to another country has become particularly widespread in Vietnam. Currently, Vietnamese citizens are married to citizens of about 60 countries. The vast majority of marriage migrants from Vietnam are women who travel to South Korea, China, Taiwan, the United States and other countries.
