The Philippines Infrastructure: a leading industry and source of problems

Annotation: The paper examines current condition of the Philippines’ infrastructure and most essential issues, preventing this sector development. The author works on the two sub-sectors of the big infrastructure sector – transport and telecommunication networks services – as the most important and significant ones for efficient economic development and remarkable improvement in the level of living among the country population. A brief description of current economic program, aimed to help the situation is given. The program was started by the President in order to improve infrastructure quality by year 2022.
