The History of the Fall of the Champa (XIII-XIX centuries)
ЮГО-ВОСТОЧНАЯ АЗИЯ: АКТУАЛЬНЫЕ ПРОБЛЕМЫ РАЗВИТИЯ, 2019, №1(42), 216-224
Annotation: The article deals with some facts of the History of one of the ancient empires of South-East Asia, the Homeland of Chams, most of which currently live in modern Cambodia. Champa flourished in the XI – XII centuries, as evidenced by the preserved architectural monuments in the territory of modern Central Vietnam. Recently, some Russian and Western scholars have suggested that the expansion of the Mongolian Khubilaid dynasty, which began in 1283, led to the "movement of the Viets to the South" (Viet Nam."Namtien") and, as a result, their conquer of Champa.
