Annotation: The article deals with the political situation in modern Malaysia after the victory of the Alliance of Hope led by Mahathir Mohamad in the elections in March 2018, the policy of the government aimed at combating corruption, improving the quality of life of citizens, the resolution of interethnic and socio-economic contradictions between communities, the prevention of interethnic conflict.
