Annotation: The reviewed book is the result of many years of research by journalist Gabrielle Paluch, who worked in Yangon for The Myanmar Times, about the amazing life full of political and personal intrigues of the "queen of opium". A legendary person in history of Burma Olive Yаng is one of the founders of the drug trade in the Golden Triangle in the 50s, who had close ties with the CIA and the Kuomintang. The author managed to meet briefly with Olive Yаng in 2015 and take some photos that are in the book.
