Economic Development of Southeast Asian Countries and the Problem of their Differentiation

Annotation: After Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia joined ASEAN in the late 1990s, the Association completed unification of all ASEAN countries into a common integration grouping. In this connection, there is a question what are the results of ASEAN countries joint development under the new conditions, especially their rates of growth, the structure of their respective economies, and their place in the world economy and so on. It is also important to understand the differentiation of the Association country-members, the level of their uniformity and the main trends that have manifested themselves lately.
