Annotation: Dr. A.Yu. Drugov in the contribution Indonesia in 2010. Major Developments points out that so called Bank Century Case showed weakness of the political support President S.B. Yudhoyono enjoys. The creation of the Coalition council headed by Golkar chief A. Bakrie was an effort to obtain such support. The issue of Christianisation become the main problem creating tensions in interconfessional relations. Some progress in Indonesian-American relations was achieved with abolishment of the USA embargo on military and technological cooperation and president B. Obama's visit to Jakarta. Latent tensions in Indonesian-Malaysian relations reoccurred in 2010 with detention by Indonesian patriots of several Malaysian fishermen. This event sparkled violent anti Malaysian demonstrations in Jakarta.
