Debt crisis in the center and the pheriphery. The current crisis of sovereign external debt in developed economies

Annotation: The author studies sovereign external debt crisis which has been spreading on many developed economies in 2011-2012. This crisis should be qualified as global because it greatly influences the financial markets and economic situation in many countries. The most trying situation is in European countries, to be more precise – the states of Western Europe –members of the euro zone. The influence of the crisis could be traced by monitoring the situation on the market of capital issues and fading rates of economic growth. Among the developing countries the ones that suffer more are those with well developed financial markets, such as China, Hong-Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea. The author also studies debt cresses in developing countries of Latin America, South-East Asia and East Asia.
